Dogs are thoughtfully grouped according to factors such as size, play style, energy level, and comfort. Our team continues to monitor each group throughout the day and makes adjustments whenever needed.
Do you offer both full-day and half-day daycare?

Does my dog need a reservation?
Reservations are recommended so our team can plan appropriate playgroups and maintain a comfortable environment for every dog. Availability may be limited during especially busy periods.

Puppy Preschool is designed for puppies between four months and one year old. Once your dog ages out of the program, our team can help determine the best next step for their daycare routine.
How is Puppy Preschool different from regular daycare?
Puppy Preschool is tailored specifically to the developmental needs of younger dogs. The environment, activities, group interactions, and rest periods are designed to support growing puppies as they learn how to navigate new experiences.
Is Puppy Preschool a formal training program?
Puppy Preschool supports good manners, confidence, socialization, and healthy routines, but it is not a replacement for private obedience or behavior training. It gives puppies a positive foundation they can continue building on at home.
What does my puppy need before attending?

Explore boarding ↗What is included in a standard boarding stay?
A standard stay includes a comfortable climate-controlled suite, raised bed, daily housekeeping, regular potty breaks, and plenty of attention from our care team.
What should I bring for my dog’s stay?
Please bring your dog’s meals, clearly labeled medications, and any necessary care instructions. Contact our team before arrival if your dog has special feeding, medical, or comfort needs.
How should I prepare my dog’s food?
Beginning in November, all boarding meals must be individually pre-bagged and labeled for each feeding. Please include your dog’s name and clear feeding instructions on each portion.
Can you administer medication during my dog’s stay?
Yes. Please provide medication in its original labeled container along with clear written instructions. Additional medication or specialized-care fees may apply depending on your dog’s needs.
Can dogs who do not enjoy group play stay overnight?
Yes. Bark Avenue can accommodate dogs who prefer individual care or are not comfortable in group settings. Our team will create a routine that prioritizes your dog’s comfort and safety.
Can I add activities or updates to my dog’s stay?
Yes. Optional boarding add-ons include additional play and cuddle time, small-group play, nature walks, bedtime stories, photo updates, report cards, treats, and other comfort-focused extras.
What is peak boarding?
Peak boarding applies during select high-demand dates and holidays. An additional nightly fee and reservation deposit may apply. We recommend booking early, as availability is limited.

Cancellation requirements may vary by service and reservation date. Contact our team as soon as possible if your plans change. Late cancellations or missed reservations may be subject to a fee.
Are you open on major holidays?
Bark Avenue’s main lobby is closed on major holidays. Boarding guests continue to receive scheduled care while the lobby is closed.
